It's funny how things work out sometimes.

The Seth Harris Childhood Cancer Foundation is an incredible thing, ya know? Our kid got the news that his heart was failing and there was nothing the doctors could do. A few weeks later he found out his cancer was back. The same cancer whose treatments caused the damage to his heart. His family asked us to help raise funds to pay for his funeral because they're at wits end dealing with the Bad News and debt.
He asked his grandmother if the Easter bunny would still come see him even like this. So, in 5 hours of Facebook posts, text messages and phone calls his "Heaven on Earth" was put together. The police force is bringing the K-9 unit, firemen bringing the truck, power company bringing bucket trucks, a real Easter bunny is coming, my friend's mom is bringing a pony. A local store donated a fishing rod and supplies for one of the boy's many Easter baskets. Hundreds of plastic eggs have been purchased an stuffed with candy to hide for an Easter egg hunt. A local band is going to play. All for four year old him. All because God cares about everyone enough to touch them with this little boy's story.

God is good.
